Pre-Move Estate Sale in Auburn — Ashford

May 10 – 12, 2026 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily 185 Walnut Drive, Auburn, AL 10445

About this estate sale

A long-time collector of Americana has parted with the family home and the contents must go. Strong representation in early American kitchen primitives, advertising tins, country furniture in original surface, redware and stoneware, hand-stitched quilts, samplers, and a wall of black-and-white silver prints from the early 20th century. Discounts compound daily — first day full price, second day 25% off, half-price Sunday on remaining stock.

This sale is conducted by Riverstone Auction & Estate, a licensed estate liquidator. For a deeper background on how a typical estate-sale weekend is staffed, priced, and discounted, the broader trade press and independent buyer guides are the best reference.

What to expect on sale day

Numbered entry tickets will be distributed at the front door beginning 30 minutes before the published opening time on the first day. Entry will proceed in numerical order; the firm asks that buyers respect the queue and refrain from negotiating prices on day one. Cash and in-state checks (with two forms of identification) are accepted; major credit cards are accepted on purchases of $25 or more. Independent buyer guides and reference works are useful pre-sale reading for any first-time visitor.

Discounts compound across the sale weekend per the liquidator’s standard schedule: full price day one, 25 percent off day two, and half-price (or open offers) on day three for any remaining material. Larger items must be paid for at the time of purchase but may be picked up by end of business on the final sale day; the liquidator can usually recommend local movers familiar with estate-sale logistics.

How to find the property

The full street address is published above. Parking is on-street; please be respectful of neighbors and avoid blocking driveways. Please do not arrive before the scheduled distribution of numbered tickets.
